slowly falling

During the march break I got the opportunity to venture to Toronto
with my churches youth group on a missions trip.
We learned about different religions and visited each of the religions temples.
It was quite interesting to say the least.

We also got the honour to listen to the stories of a Holocaust survivor.
                               Her name was Heddi Bohm.
She said the reason she was sharing her story with us is because 2 years ago
people started making claims that the Holocaust never happened.

                  Could you imagine?

being crammed into cattle cars with 100 other people for a two week journey to be taken to the largest concentration camp-Auschwitz, splitting up with your parents at the age of 16 and then after so many years of hoping to be a family again.... you come to the realization that you'll never see your parents EVER again because they were forced into gas chambers,  or having to eat grungy dish water that they called soup and stale bread, or working 12 hour shifts in the bleak winter in nothing but a shabby summer dress ....and living through it all and it having such an impact on you that you have nightmares.....and you havent said a word about your past to anyone because it caused so much pain ...

....until you find out that people think it never happened.

After not being able to share her story for so long, Hedy now shares her
personal testimony to people all over Canada.
Now it's your turn, share your story.
